About The Teacher
Hello! My name is Joanie Blevins, and I teach 8th grade Language Arts in
8th grade. I am very lucky to have a loving and supportive family that
includes my husband Steve, daughters Courtney, Brittany, and Katie, and two
sons Wesley and Jackson. I also have two grandchildren, Isabella and Jennifer.
I am am avid scrapbooker,and I spend hours pouring
over family photos that I use to create documents that record my family and their
history. I also love to read and enjoy many different genres and authors.
Another hobby I share with my family is horseback riding. We love going to the
farm to ride horses, ATV’s, and even tractors. I have recently earned my Master’s
Degree in Educational Leadership. Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of
being a teacher. It is an honor to teach and to be a part of shaping the lives
of students. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child’s
educational experience.

MY GOAL IS FOR EVERY STUDENT TO BE SUCCESSFUL. I BELIEVE EVERY STUDENT CAN
LEARN, AND EACH STUDENT MUST BE PROVIDED WITH OPPORTUNITIES ON A DAILY BASIS
TO EXPLORE THE WORLD AROUND THEM. LEARNING NEEDS TO BE FUN AND INTERACTIVE IN
ORDER FOR STUDENTS TO WANT TO BE A PART OF THE PROCESS.
