President’s Day is Monday, Feb 20. No LSSD school will be in session.

(click here for flyer )You are invited to come hear an incredible story of courage and hope. Rachel Scott was the first person killed in the Columbine High School Tragedy on April 20, 1999. She left behind an amazing legacy and a simple challenge to anyone who will accept it – treat others with kindness and compassion and you just may change the world you live in. Student assemblies will be held at Walter J. Baird and Winfree Bryant Middle Schools. A parent and community event will be held on February 28th at 6pm in the Winfree Bryant Auditorium.

Linda Badger was voted teacher of the year by her peers for the 2012 school year.  She teaches 7th grade Social Studies.  Linda has been teaching at WJ for 7 years.

If you purchase items at Publix, you may obtain a keychain card from the office to scan each time you purchase from Publix.  It will not give you any discounts but will give our school money.

The Lebanon Special School District is closed, Friday, January 13 due to snow and ice. This includes Walter J. Baird Middle School.

There will be no school Monday, Jan 16 for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

Christmas Holidays begin Friday 12/16 @ 10 am.

Students return to school on Tuesday, 1/3/2012.
