Welcome back.  Hope all of you had a great spring break.    We will start the TCAP review.

That just means we get to show off all the knowledge that we have worked hard to master this year.

The dates are April 23rd-27th.  More information to come on getting ready for the test.

We are finishing the Chemistry units and getting ready to start the unit on Physics.

All students have had a great start to the new year.

Welcome back.  Our first quiz this semester will be Friday Jan. 6th over Balancing Equations.

The 9 Weeks Test will be this Wednesday (12/7).  I have sent a study guide

home to help the students with what to study.

This will count 3 times on their 9 weeks grade.

End of the grading period is Friday 12/9.

Report cards will go home next Wednesday  12-14

The students have homework tonight (Monday 11-28) but it is a very small amount.  They can also get some extra credit by doing the back page of the worksheet.  Up to 22 extra credit points.

We are having a 11 question quiz tomorrow (Tuesday 11-29) over the periodic table.

They can use those extra credit points on any test or quiz during this 9 weeks.

Sorry I’ve not been on here in a few weeks.  I was out with a knee surgery that went great.  So now that I feeling much better I hope to be keeping you informed of work and test…

Glad to be back from the nice two weeks break.

We are studying Density this week and students have homework tonight.10-17

We will be having a test this Thursday (Oct.-20th) over measurements and density.

I want to share a few dates that are important.

Science notebooks turned in September 16th this counts as two test grades.  I check vocabulary and content.

2nd Vocabulary Quiz Monday the 19th

9 weeks test September 21st

Report cards go home September 28th

Parent Teacher Conferences September 29th  3:30 till 6:30 No appointment needed.

True Blue Day, the reward day for our yearly fund raiser, September 30th

And finally, October 1st the start of our two week break.
