The Walter J. Baird Lady Devils Softball team will hold tryouts on Friday, September 26th, from 3:00–5:00 PM at the WJB Softball Field. Students who did not play last season but would like to join the team this year are encouraged to attend. Returning players who tried out in May and made the team should also plan to be there unless they are currently in season with another sport.
All students must bring a current sports physical dated within the past year in order to participate—this is required to try out. Players should also come prepared with cleats, a glove, a mask, and any other equipment they use for their position. Tryouts are free, but everyone must pre-register ahead of time. Registration forms are available in the front office, and the sign-up link can also be found here.
