Blue Devil Book Club
About Our Club
The Blue Devil Book Club brings together students from all grade levels who share a love of reading. Members read a monthly book, take part in group discussions, explore different perspectives, and connect with fellow readers in an informal, welcoming environment.
Who Can Join?
Applications are available year-round, and new members are always welcome! Students from any grade level may join as long as they have parent permission and a reliable ride home after meetings.
Meeting Information
Book Club typically meets on the third Monday of each month after school until 4:00 PM.
Supplies
Students are responsible for obtaining their own copy of each month's book. Most selections are available through the school library, public library, or as audiobooks on YouTube (linked in the Book Club Google Classroom).
Books are chosen based on availability and recommendations from both advisors and students. Each month follows a theme, and students are encouraged to suggest titles.
Behavior Expectations
Members are expected to:
- Read the monthly book
- Participate in discussions
- Be respectful of others' opinions and perspectives
