About Our Team
The Walter J. Baird Middle School Devilettes Soccer Team is a competitive and fun opportunity for students to develop their soccer skills, build teamwork, and represent our school with pride. Our program focuses on sportsmanship, effort, and growth, both on and off the field.
Who Can Try Out?
Current 5th, 6th, and 7th grade girls who are interested in soccer and are enrolled at WJB for the upcoming school year are encouraged to try out in the spring. Prior soccer experience is helpful but not required—coaches are looking for athletes who are willing to work hard, learn, and be supportive teammates.
Season Information
Devilettes Soccer takes place during August and September, with games scheduled throughout the season against other schools. Players are expected to attend practices, games, and team events, and to demonstrate positive teamwork and school spirit.Tryouts are typically held in the spring, with practices beginning in the summer months (dates and times will be announced after team selection).
