Archery Team
About the Archery Team
The Walter J. Baird Middle School Archery Team is a new team that began in the 2024–2025 school year. The team provides students with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of archery in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Members will develop focus, discipline, confidence, and hand-eye coordination while learning proper technique and range safety.
As the program grows, the Archery Team may expand to include opportunities for students to compete against other school archery programs in the future.
Who Can Join
The Archery Team is open to WJB students who are interested in learning archery, regardless of prior experience. All skill levels are welcome.
Meeting Times
The Archery Team typically meets after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 5:00 pm. Meeting schedules may vary depending on availability and school events.
Expectations & Safety
Students are expected to follow all safety guidelines and school rules while participating. Emphasis is placed on responsibility, sportsmanship, and respect for equipment, peers, and instructors.
